Café Hamra - Beirut

I like this place. Perfect location in the middle of Hamra street. Sometimes it's hard to find a parking lot, but you can always park in the hotel in front of the café and avoid the trouble. Friendly staff, good menu, delicious desserts (bread pudding is worth waiting 20 minutes), and they have a salad bar for the interested.

Great customer service. My younger sister ordered a white coffee thinking it meant white mocha. When the waiter served her the coffee, she informed him that it wasn't what she thought so he replaced her coffee with mocha and did not charge her the price of the coffee. Rare to see that in Lebanon today ...

Quiet with an amazing seating area. Popular among older generations; however, usually teenagers would eat breakfast in the morning. The prices are a little bit over but they make it up by the quality of the food. I would recommend Halloumi Cheese in pan. It comes with cooked olives.
