Panera Bread - Bedford

Have made errors on every single one of my orders. Missing items I've paid for usually. Go somewhere else. Find a small business that actually deserves your money.

I have typically found Panera to be an okay dining option, but today was a disappointment. I ordered a bread bowl, expecting a satisfying meal. However, when it arrived, I discovered that only about an inch had been cut out of the 4-inch tall bowl. When I questioned the staff about this, they simply explained that it was the way they prepare their bread. In my opinion, this excuse was unacceptable. Overall, this was not a pleasant experience for me. If you are looking for a good meal and great service, I recommend taking the extra couple of minutes to drive to Pressed Cafe instead.

I usually don't write reviews about negative experiences, but I feel the need to share my recent visit to this restaurant. I have been here multiple times before during the day and had a good experience, but last night at 7:30pm was a different story. My friend and I walked in and were completely ignored by the staff for at least five minutes while we waited to order. They were goofing off right in front of us and didn't even acknowledge us. I tried to get someone's attention to order my favorite sandwich, but no one seemed to care. When another customer walked in, a girl immediately took his order while we had been waiting for a long time without a word. I expect at least minimum service when paying over $10 for a sandwich, but none of the staff even smiled. They were all goofing around and not focused on their jobs. It seemed like one girl was doing everything while the others chatted amongst themselves. The lack of management was evident, as the staff was unreliable and unprofessional. I used to work at this location and never had a bad experience until recently. I also did not receive the pickle I requested with my sandwich, despite asking for two. I am extremely disappointed and would appreciate it if a manager could speak to me about my experience.

The atmosphere at this restaurant is fantastic, the food is decent, but the service is terrible. For example, I waited for almost 35 minutes and purchased some bakery items, only to be told that the item was no longer available and had been given to someone who arrived right after me. It was a terrible experience.

Been here a few times. Went recently after the dinner rush to do some travel planning and found it half empty and rather quiet. It was nice! Love their bread bowls, soup and cookies. Definitely a good experience.
