Coffee Republic Bedford

Only place in Bedford that I like to sit down and relax after shopping. The vibe inside is great. Busy in the weekends, rather quiet over the week. Good coffee and cakes available. Try Heart Attack in Cup, literally it's called Heart Attack!! Excellent customer service, friendly staff, clean and tidy store. Whoever is managing this place, doing a great job.

Enjoyed the coffee but the panini could have been better The filling was uneven, one end contained almost nothing but rather a lot of pesto. Some of the staff were somewhat un-engaging. Also, the toilet was not as clean as I would expect.

Very nice cafe on high street plenty of viewing windows. Very pleasant and helpful staff, aimed to please. Cleaner than most other places, still room for improvement. I had a small double flat white, bit too bitter for me and not hot enough. Scrambled eggs disappointing, brown toast was ok but not as good as Costa. Hopefully they will review their reviews because the location and ambiance is excellent.

I used to be a fan of this restaurant but had not visited in a while. Unfortunately, this recent visit was disappointing from the start. The staff member who served me was unfriendly and did not greet me or listen to my order. The cheese and tomato sandwich I ordered was not fresh, as the roll was hard and the cheese was dried out. I do not plan on returning to this restaurant again.

The website indicated that the restaurant is open until 7pm Monday to Saturday and 6pm on Sunday, but it was closed at 4:15pm today on Sunday. Yesterday it appeared to be preparing to close just after 5pm. Despite this inconsistency, the interior is pleasant and there is a good variety of seating options suitable for lounging or working upright at tables.
