Bidra med feedbackMy husband and I shared the tacos. I thought the meat was great, seasoned perfectly. The cabage instead of lettuce was interesting but better than I expected. My husband however wasn't a fan. Also, no fountain drinks.
Good food and good beer. I prefer street tacos or something a bit more authentic, but these tacos were still tasty. The location is unique, with arcade games on the bottom floor, and plenty of outdoor seating.
Truly terrible. From the unfriendly attitude of the cook/server to the truly awful tacos. Cannot understand how this place has gotten any good reviews unless it was under a different owner. The ambience is actually the best part. It's an old converted gas station with a funky vibe I liked. However the tacos were the worst we've ever had in our lives. Overcooked bits of fried bits on small corn tortillas with a little slaw topped with a blob of sour cream. Finally, the kitchen looked dirty. Not exactly appetizing. Go somewhere else.
This place is awesome with such a laid back atmosphere and great food. We were there on a perfect day, enjoying our tacos out in the sun and listening to the pinball going on inside.
I liked Poncho and Lefty's! I like the atmosphere and the food is pretty good. It's definitely the kind of place I would take someone if they've never been, but I'm not sure I would seek it out either, but, also, I'm not from the area. The big takeaway is that I would go back and I would recommend.
