We have been going to La Scala for many years. The food is always excellent, there is always an Amuse Bouche. The owners speak good English and the menu is English as well. A lovely evening with friends.

We had two pizzas to take away. They’re 30cm pizzas, with a good amount of topping. The owners were nice cheerful people. We would have liked to eat in, but were in a hurry that day. Either way, great pizzas with a twist.

Myself, partner and our couple friends had the loveliest time here! Not only are the husband and wife duo friendly, but they are happy to translate parts of the menu if like us you’re not fluent in French : they were so hospitable and we loved their attention to detail and inviting manner. Now on to the food! We each had a large pizza (very generous sizes, even the biggest eaters at the table couldn’t finish so they kindly provided a takeaway box! , to say they were delicious is an understatement, they had flavour, plenty of topping and we didn’t have to wait long from ordering! The lovely lady waiting our table was so friendly and her husband to cooked the food kindly gave us insight to the wines we were looking at, and didn’t mind us making pizza topping substitutes: To sum up, this was a wonderful evening, great ambiance inside, and I highly recommend anyone travelling through Beaurainville to stop in and enjoy for themselves!

Not many places open for eating on a Sunday evening and this was close to our chamber d'hote. The starter was extremely good and the pizza was also very tasty; I am not a big pizza eater, so perhaps I should have gone for something else. The owners are very friendly and they helped us through the menu. We were in the restaurant with a few other diners and there were plenty of locals coming in for their take away orders. All very pleasant and good food.
