Magnum Bar a Vins - Beaune

While I am not at all a fan of Burgundy wines, believing them over-rated and over-priced, this is a great spot for sampling by the glass, accompanied by nibbles or more substantial food. The exterior area is covered and has comfortable, low garden-style seats with tables and taller tables with stools. Both options are good. I did enjoy a glass of Crémant de Bourgogne and also a pleasant, drinkable chardonnay so some wines are in the region are at least worth trying, the challenge being to know which! Rue Monge is a lovely shopping and restaurant precinct with no traffic other than pedestrian so Magnum is a great spot to chill out and relax. Staff are efficient and the overall experience is one of the most memorable for us in Beaune. Try it. Other places are not memorable so this was a great find.

Un acceuil sypa vous y attend, prix corrects,une diversité d'appellations vous sont proposés en dégustation au verre, a l'intérieur ou en terrasse dans une des rues piétonne des plus fréquentée a deux pas des Halles et de l'Hôtel-Dieu.

Le bar est très spacieux, avec des sièges très confortables. L'ambiance est agréable. Le choix des vins est assez large. Seul bémol : le prix au verre.
