Charlie's B Que Catering - Beaumont

We had Charlie for my fathers 80. Birthday party. Over 50 guests and each one of them could not stop talking how delicious it was! It was really the best BBQ I ever had! Thank you, Charlies. We will definitely use you again with our next event!!

Had heard the food was good, so thought we'd try it. Food was pretty good, but kinda pricey for what you get. Also didn't like the fact of NO fountain drinks. We tried, but we probably won't be back.

In response to the owner: Yes, I did actually leave a positive and raving review when I enjoyed the food. It was the very first thing I did. Original: I was craving BBQ so off to Charley's I went. Was the first customer of the day and was thrilled because if not the wait can be a little long. I ordered the one meat plate. With sliced brisket and three sliced brisket sandwiches. $38.00 I know folks may come for me but I believe in leaving honest reviews. Charley....what happened? The brisket was fork tender only but dry and bland to the taste, the sauce saved it. Their sauce is one of the very best I've had in the area. Reminds me of the KC style sauce from the Midwest, sweet and spicy. The baked beans could have come from a can. So unappealing. The potato salad reminded me of store bought brand because the potatoes were slightly rubbery. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't fresh. I'll just say absolutely no one stuck their foot in either one. When I frist had Charley's it was lovely, I was excited and bragged on it often. No one could tell me any different but I haven't had it since May 2021 and I'm not sure what happened but it is not the same quality at all. All I can say is there is some new and stiff competition in the area right now. One can't afford to drop the ball at this point. Charley's sauce is still the bomb though. I may try them again but after today...not at all at the top of my list to do so. Sorry Charley!

Food is always good, but when they say 2meat plate, they really mean 2meat plate (2 ribs 2 slices of brisket). Maybe they made a mistake on my order. Would think for $17.25 it would be more than just 2 ribs 2 slices of brisket. It’s been a few months since I’ve been here, I just remember receiving more idk

I loved the Turkey leg. It was huge. Enough for two people. It was tender and juicy. Needed seasoning though. I added hot sauce and it was excellent. My hubby ordered ribs and brisket with rice and potatoe salad. He says it was all good and tender however he doesn't care for all the smoke in the meat.
