Bidra med feedbackMomo Valley is a lovely place! We were celebrating a bachelor party and we were a slightly larger (6 people) group. They took a reservation for us and held it for the 10 minutes that we were late! The food was lovely, the portions were sensible and some of us got to take our leftovers with us!Everyone liked their food and the MoMos and we all got various stuff. The people working were lovely and very helpful as we packed up our boxes.
The food, people and place are great. We were 11 people and we just walked in without any reservation on a weekend. We had to wait 15 minutes and food was served. We ordered both vegan and nonveg dishes. The quality was great. The price seems to be fair but some items were really expensive given their quantity. Also, they said seconds on rice would be charged but they didn't charge for that. Had a great time!Vegetarian options: Nice food, had vegan rice and vegetables. Was tasty and healthy.
When the restaurant my friend had picked out turned out to have a 45-minute wait, in spite of several open tables, we got a tip from some well-fed guy on the street. He balanced a cake in his hand and told us, unsolicited, that we had to go there. I'd eaten there once before and really enjoyed it, and was pleased to be confirmed in that. Cheers to the gourmand who referred us. He could have just as easily steered us toward some overpriced Hudson Valley farm-to-table whatever with a burger or whatever. Instead: momos, pickles, dal, noodles, soup, fresh veggies, flavor and savor.
What a great find! After a morning of hiking at Breakneck Ridge nearby, eating lunch at Momo Valley was the perfect ending to a great day. If you're looking for something different than try Nepalese cuisine!
Everyone in my group tried something different, and we were all so satisfied! The flavors were incredible!
