Bidra med feedbackDelicious lobster rolls and sides. We tried the CT version and it did not disappoint, definitely coming back here.
I don't know where to begin. Very bad service. Expensive. Tater tots. It's hard if not impossible to run a good restaurant in a resort community with a four month season. Jersey Shore vacationers need to start cooking at home.
We had the Maine Lobster Roll, the CT Lobster Roll and the Lobster Bisque. The lobster rolls were delicious and packed with lobster meat but the lobster bisque had def gone bad. Not sure if they left it sitting over night (since we ordered right when they opened) but It’s tasted very sour. The women working there were very apologetic and refunded my money. We, unfortunately, won’t be back next time we visit LBI due to the bisque incident. Makes you question the rest of their food and preparation protocol. Really sucks because their lobster rolls were delicious, came with a generous side of tater tots, cole slaw and a corn salad for $21. This is def more of a pick up place. The only seating available are some chairs and tables outside.
A small spot with counter service, and a few tables outside. This fairly priced, $21 a lobster roll, spot gives you a healthy serving of lobster both claws and tails on a perfectly toasted buttery roll. They have Maine, CT and Mass choices. They created a new category called Rillaioli, a lobster roll with varying state themed offerings. Check out the Texas. The lobster Mac and cheese was creamy, and didn't skimp on the lobster portion.
Connecticut roll was pretty good. The sandwich is small, but it was packed with lobster. It lacked a little bit of flavor but overall it was pretty good. The service staff were super friendly. I will definitely come back!
