Ocean The Crescent Beach Club

Every year I go to the same upscale restaurant in Huntington for my birthday. I don’t know why I deviated. Decided to try this place for after receiving numerous emails promoting this place as upscale with the best view. We were seated at a table by the window next to a family with children, who were being rambunctious. When asked if we could have the corner table away, we were advised by the hostess it would take too long to have them clean it. Service was so slow, as the waiter had a larger party he was servicing outside, which made no sense why he would be waiting on us inside. Maybe that was a reflection of them preparing to close for the season. The food was underwhelming and quite frankly overpriced. When you order a seafood pasta dish, you expect to get a dish brimming with seafood, not with half empty shells and bay scallops so small you needed a microscope to find them, the lobster cream sauce was watered down and bland. The Moroccan chicken was so dry on a sad display of potatoes and onion that were just tossed on the plate. The manager who can be seen viewing the room, didn’t bother to check on any tables but was too busy making sure table prep was being set. We saw one other gentleman checking on a larger party inside. Overall, the only thing good about this place is the view, but not enough to erase the disappointment of going out for a birthday dinner and having to pick up burgers on the way home to resolve our hunger and evening. Will never go back or recommend.

Beautiful dining, service and views on water! I would recommend ocean.

Beautiful view, eating was very good, service was not rushed, tables a little tight outside, but I was not worried about the apart.

Love eating. it's amazing. chef eric and his staff are the top of the line. maybe service staff was a bad day, but it wasn't good. and the music is not relaxing. it's quite disturbing. the lookout is breathtaking. the place itself is beautiful.

The lobster night is worth every bit of the The meal was incredible from beginning to end. I am just sad they are closed from now until April.
