Steve's Bbq Catering Baytown

It was closing day hot and chaotic. They ran out of sauce.

Ribs are best around Baytown all you can eat 4:30 to 6:30.Chopped Beef sandwich is cooked in Bbq like no other. Still cooking on a real pit not like other places.

BBQ is always good here, brisket and sausage plate with potatoe salad and beans. Nice lunch

First time trying this place. I have to say, the only decent thing was the potato salad. The beans were flavorless, no effort put into them. The brisket… the worst I have ever had. It was way too chewy and absolutely no flavor. It was almost like it was boiled in water or microwaved. The sausage was disgusting, very bland and the little flavor I did have was not that tasty… and the bbq sauce was a disaster. It was very runny. Almost the same consistency as the water I was drinking. I’d rather starve myself. Hope I’ve saved a few of you.

Ok so I never expect anything good to come out of Baytown, but this sorry excuse of Texas bbq warranted a thorough review. Firstly, the brisket was dry and chewy. The “baked” beans tasted like old car leather. The only part of my meal that I could consider decent was the potato salad. And when the potato salad is the only thing to write home about, you know you got a problem..
