Das Wendelsteinhaus - Bayrischzell

You must distinguish between the view of the tip of Wendelstein, which is great and the terrace also. But the Wendelsteinhaus is very poor. It is more like a canteen and they definitely make much more of this amazing place. You don't want to make money. You also do not accept credit cards and debit cards only above a certain limit. This is fine on a small and high cabin, but this Peak House on Wendelstein with tourists from all over the world... So enjoy your time there, but do not expect a special culinary experience (not even on a native food level).

Warm reception on a cold snowy day, good hearty Bavarian food, nice staff, big white beer, loved the apple strudel. Sadly low cloud did not allow us to enjoy the stunning location, maybe next year!
