Houlihan's - Bayonne

The waiter was right at our table after he had sat down. our drinks orders have given us time to look over the menu. Eating was good, but still they miss my chiop salad. Please bring it back.

Excellent service and a delicious dinner we all had. great and relaxing environment.

I am a frequent customer for many years of the Houlihans brand and this particular location is the closet to me so I do go to this one now more but sadly I have to say the last 3 times I've been here have been very unpleasant. I'm not sure what's happened but the quality of the food is extremely poor!! At first I thought it was just a bad day but it's happened on two other occasions. A mixture of bland, stale and cold food..ugh. The last few times I had to politely complain about my food being cold almost like it sat for hours but the restaurant wasn't crowded. My husbands bread on his sandwich was very stale and he just decided not to get anything else although the manager did offer him another item and a refund. He was just turned off at that point. The wait staff in all of this I have to say is very nice and apologetic each time so that's not the issue at all. It's Def the kitchen. I ordered the Sedona pasta which comes with Fettuccine pasta but when I got my plate it was mixed with Spaghetti noodles and Fettuccine noodles almost as if they ran out. That's understandable but let the customer know, don't just throw whatever on a plate. I didn't even complain about the pasta mix but it did annoy me. It's just shows lack of care. My Fried Calamari I had to send back another time because it was too hard to eat and the aloli sauce looked strange like it was going bad. When they brought out another order it was much better and even the sauce looked to be the right color! I couldn't believe how insane this all was so again the kitchen is serving what ever to the customers and that is very dangerous. I'm very bummed about this because this use to be my fav place even after they cut the menu options down but not anymore. Managers need to get to the bottom of what's happening in their kitchen. No one should get terrible quality of food and newly higher prices...unacceptable. We gave a good tip and we do everytime because and the waitress I had today was so sweet as it's not her fault. Left very dissatisfied and disappointed with the thought that I will never return again.

Reasonably price menu by FAR over Outback or Longhorn Steakhouse. Service was impeccable as well.

Service is great. Food was okay, but the drinks were terrible. I had a mango Rita and it was the worse one I had by far. Mind you i come here often and everytime i come the drinks get worse. Next time I'll take the extra drive to Secaucus.
