Gatsby's Saloon - Bay City

Found this restaurant here on Happy Cow and I am VERY glad I did! We had the Buffalo Hummus appetizer, Buffalo Unchicken Wrap, and Vegan Gyro. Everything was amazing! The pita that came with the hummus was soooo good! The wrap and fries were great, just could have used a bit more buffalo sauce, but I like things really spicy. The Gyro was good and the sauce worked really well with it. The gyro meat was very tasty! I am not in Bay City often, but when we are here visiting family, we will pop in! Great restaurant! The food was delicious. I tried the buffalo hummus and the falafel burger with sweet potato fries. I will definitely be returning to Gastbys again.

We enjoy traveling to try vegan food and were delighted to find a great option up north with very few choices for vegans. We visited on a Wednesday for Vegan Night and tried the special, Unchickn Mac Cheese with garlic toast. It was amazing comfort food that left us feeling satisfied and happy. Our server, Anna, is Chef Todd's wife and both are vegan, which made the experience even better. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be returning. We're excited to also try Luna's. We wish we could give this place 5 stars!

I attempted to give 5 stars but was not allowed by HappyCow. The service was great, the food was delicious, and it is a great place to go when dining with non-vegans. My meal was fantastic and my non-vegan sister also enjoyed her food. I highly recommend this restaurant and commend their vegan chef. Hats off to them!

They actually have a separate vegan menu with vegan sides! Love having choices although not used to it. Everything I ate was so delicious. Would recommend. Something for everyone.
