Bidra med feedbackI waited to check this place as I had to think more about the experience. first I want to acknowledge how great the personal was. the meal felt easy to hurry, but the staff was very attentive and efficient. we decided to share for the scallop entree. the presentation was a baptism of scallops on top of each other on a bed of tartaric acid sauce. to be honest, it looked very inconspicuous and the whole dish had no taste they would expect from a scallop dish in most restaurants. I think it was the first time I had introduced scallops out of the dish and I would suspect they were frozen. for the first we had hapuka, which is a beautiful fish. this was served on a bed of potatoes with butter sauce and a side salad. the fish was dry and the dish was very white, without fresh arome they would expect from a beautiful fish dish. decor was beautiful and restaurant, although busy was quiet so that they could have a conversation at the table. much better seafood in hobart.
Expected a good food here. the mixed grill has ordered a mix of seafood. it noted the following: kartoffel burin, king fish, scalope, otopus and salmon with tweebel rings. what I was serving was with a tweepering ring. I thought eating better for the price was amazing. I was so wrong. As per photo, the king fish was so dry. I thought I would chew on sun-dried anchovy. lachs was overcooked with his rubbery skin. scallops were tiny. the only beautiful article you should write about. will not return. I had better eating in mures upper and lower.
It seemed that our waitress was either inexperienced or just wanted to turn around tables quickly, as we had to slow down the process all night. this is nice, casual restaurant with very good food and cheap trips, but why all the hurry?
Very friendly ambiente, staff was very fast and friendly, eating was very good without being great, $2 oysters were a hit.
The restaurant looks really beautiful from the outside. the service was very good in a busy night our waitress was friendly and efficient. eating was quite normal. my wife had an average fish and chips (not cheap,) while I had a seafood...pasta both mealtimes came within less than ten minutes after the order to table, which was surprisingly fast as the place was busy. My pasta court was hot, strange. I'm sure they can't use a microwave to get pre-cooked meal? but the effect was not appetizing.
