Bidra med feedbackIt has been many months since I dimmed at zoroona. the experience was excellent! the interesting thing about this visit is that it didn't happen. zoroona is closed for redesign, or so says the sign on the door. my suggestion removes opentable.
We arrived in the restaurant at our reservation time of 18:30 clock only to find that they were closed. the doors were closed and the lights were out. I can't give a review because we didn't eat there, but we were very disappointed and had to make other plans.
In the door and sign said “seat yourself”. she went in and went to sit on a table and a waitress sweated us and told us she couldn't help us because she was the only one that worked and it would be at least 30 minutes before she could order our drinks. I told her I had a reservation. she said: “on open panel?!” I said yes- she said to her eyes and laughed and said, "we don't get one of them, I'm sorry." we went out and went somewhere else to lunch. opentable should take her from her list. bummer motherday experience.

The place is beautiful and spacious. The tables were covered in linen. We were given hot rosemary bread with an oil mixture to begin our meal. Everything we ordered was delicious. We had the fried Kubbi, a gyro, a chicken shawarma platter, and Zoroona's chicken. The portions are big and flavorful. I did not expect quality Mediterranean food in Baton Rouge, but this place has the best!
