No meat in the seafood gumbo rice and juice disappointed.! Baseball team all ate here and would not recommend, some of the team chose to leave and get whatuburger after seeing it come out. We ordered from here the last time we were in Baton Rouge. Despite throwing the jambalaya away after a few bites, my husband insisted on ordering from here again. He enjoyed the gumbo, and crawfish boudin, which is the only reason for the two stars. We did order within an hour of closing time last time, that may have been the cause for some of my issues with the jambalaya. I thought I would give the jambalaya another try. In my opinion, it's not true jambalaya. It tasted more like day old, dry chicken and rice, with a little sausage thrown in.

Sharing time with Skylar the owner was perfect. You can tell he loves his food, his people and community. Highly recommend enjoying a meal and a conversation when you stop by!
