French Market Bistro - Baton Rouge

We sat outside so that’s the reason for the lower marks on ambience. We didn’t have a reservation and it was on a Monday night so make a reservation if you want to enjoy the full effect.

We enjoyed our recent visit to celebrate my husband's retirement. The atmosphere and food were very good. When we first sat down the music was somewhat loud and more suited to a bar party, but was soon lowered and music more attuned to fine dining played. We would recommend to friends.

I always have a fantastic time at this restaurant. It's not too loud, the service is excellent, and the food is delicious.

Had dinner with friends on a Saturday night. Our group tried both the specials and dishes from the regular menu. Everything was delicious. I highly recommend it.

This is probably my favorite restaurant in Baton Rouge. Great wine selection and ambience. Food is wonderful and they are flexible to customize if you need something different than what is on the menu. Service was also very good. I recommend getting reservations as they get booked up quickly.
