Chinese Inn Restaurant - Bathurst

The first time I was in Bathurst in 50 years. Looking for Chinese for dinner went to this place after reading reviews. My wife was more than disappointed. We had the mixed duck-ham and chicken rolls. ,...dim sim was not nice beef, spring roll was OK. For the main, the pork ribs in plum sauce were more like broken pork in honey, chicken chow my fried rice was OK. From the moment we entered the restaurant, the staff were very Swiss, talking to each other, the service was far away from professional. I should have said that this is the worst Chinese food I had the rude staff I was dealing with.

I have read the latest reviews and some expect a lot from a small Chinese shop. The staff is always helpful. I'll go with the woman for lunch every night. We tried most of the dishes and like everyone. The...Fried rice is simple, but use it to mix with the sauce of meals. Special FR is good if you like rice with more taste. Lunch service is fast, but expect small delays when it is very busy. People complain about large amounts of food. Maybe most people like that. Share with friends or take home later. Big pieces of meat?? I've never had a problem with the food. (Maybe byo a knife and fork if you cannot find out how to eat big bits). Notes: Inside could be a lick of color and smaller update in the decor. really gives a nice impression of a place for new visitors.

It was said that the best Chinese in BX.... When I went to pick up, my take lunch special I thought the store looked nice and clean, dining area was inviting and had a nice atmosphere. Waiting on the couch as a party of five Asian Peole came, I commented on the last man Good when you are here, I look forward to it! First the Fried Rice: A beautiful fried rice should have more than just strange pieces of carrots in it. If it's a great FR with only carrots, I guess. The FR was underscored and bland, without taste. No onions in the FR. (If you want to make your FR like a GOOD Chinese restaurant, just double the onions) But you must taste the rice and season. I don't think the boss was here either. The sweet and acidic pork: again under-heated and the vinegar sugar sauce was unbalanced, tiny pork carvings in masses of dough, which was also un seasoned. I don't know if the locals prefer their dietary gland, but there is no excuse to eat that. No pride in the kitchen. It seems like the cook just called in court. Only poor food as cheap as possible... Bland, unedible delta sierra. I know this was a special lunch, and only $8:50 a serve, but it would not tempt me to return. Really disappointing. This restaurant claims not to use MSG, but they should say they don't use salt or soy sauce either...

However, we were pleased to discover the Chinese Inn, which offers delicious and fresh food at a reasonable price. The spring rolls and satay dishes are particularly noteworthy. The only drawback is the service from the waitstaff, who engage in inappropriate conversations and do not treat customers respectfully. This has deterred us from dining in, as we found it difficult to secure a table for our group of five even though the restaurant was only half full on a Thursday night. It is advisable to double-check your takeout orders, as the staff often make mistakes due to being preoccupied with their phones. The owners should consider improving their customer service by hiring more professional and attentive staff, as this could attract more patrons to their otherwise excellent restaurant.
