Bidra med feedbackPopped in for a noodle box to eat in and the owner felt I did not explain this adequately I feel I did) and got quite huffy. Not a great first impression. My food egg fried rice plus crispy chicken) was nice however I am put off returning by the unfriendly and ungrateful attitude of the staff.
It's a takeaway really, but there are a couple of benches in the window and since there were only the three of us, we sat and ate. Help yourself to chopsticks; other cutlery is available Choose rice (plain, jasmine, coconut) or noodles; fried crispy meat(chicken, duck, beef etc); sauce (too many to remember; and whether you want large or medium. I went for the medium chicken on coconut rice with Thai masaman curry. Very pleasant although nothing exceptional Ambience nul points remember, this is a bench in a takeaway. Guys, if you bring a hot date here, she won't be impressed. Food four stars. Take your date home and light a couple of candles. Trust me on this.
Great value takeout containers with a wide selection of hot and delicious options. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an affordable and tasty lunch.
I stopped by on my way home and ordered a prawn basket from their menu, which I have enjoyed in the past. However, this time was surprisingly disappointing. The prawns did not smell fresh and I ended up feeling ill after eating them. I have been a regular customer at this restaurant, but this experience has made me reconsider returning in the future. It's a shame because I usually love Gongfu.
Every time we are in Bath, we make sure to stop by this restaurant for lunch. They serve the best crispy tofu with amazing sauces. Just a heads up, the address provided will take you to the tea shop version of the restaurant, so we recommend visiting the one in Kingsmead Square for the full dining experience.
