China King Super Buffet - Batesville

Review of China King I recently visited China King, hoping to satisfy my cravings for a late-night buffet, but I was left thoroughly disappointed. Upon entering, the first thing that struck me was the uncleanliness of the restaurant. The floors were sticky, and the tables appeared to have been wiped down hastily, if at all. The food selection was vast, but unfortunately, the quality was lacking. Most of the dishes were cold, which is unacceptable for a buffet setting. The fried rice was bland and dry, and the general chicken was soggy instead of crispy. It felt as though the food had been sitting out for far too long without proper temperature control. To make matters worse, the staff seemed indifferent to customer needs, rarely checking in or replenishing empty trays. The overall atmosphere was uninviting, making it hard to enjoy any part of the experience. In summary, China King failed to meet even the most basic expectations for a buffet. With dirty surroundings and cold food, I would not recommend dining here. There are certainly better options out there for a late-night meal.

It was just ok. Great selection but not so tasty as some other Chinese buffets I've been to. Probably won't go again. There's a piece of wire in one of the dishes I tried. I showed to the waitress bur she didn't give a hoot. She looked at it and dropped back on my table with a smile.

The food was just okay.. my appetite was completely ruined when I looked down at the floor and saw a cockroach crawling around. Wouldn't recommend it.

Miss the coconut shrimp there today,is my favorite there!

The waitress wouldn’t quit walking back and forth from the table. We hadn’t even finished when she gave us the bill. She kept walking up to the table, waiting for us to pay even after we said we were not done. After we gave her the money, she kept pointing at the recommended tips even though I didn’t think she deserved it. I ended up giving her a $7 tip on a $30 bill because she would not leave us alone. Zero stars if that was an option.
