Batemans Bay Soldiers Club

The bistro was very busy, but we were able to get a table. I would recommend booking in advance as it is a popular eatery. The service was excellent and the staff were friendly. There were many menu options and all the dishes looked amazing. This bistro is definitely a step above the average. We shared a seafood platter for two, which was fresh and delicious. Overall, it is definitely worth a visit and we will return when we are in the area again.

The waiting period was over 55 minutes. my son in the law ordered a $40 steak that on the menu said how it should be cooked- medium to medium-sized rare, he asked for medium rare. when it came, it was on the well-made side of medium, at best. After waiting for our meal for so long, he ate what he could. at the end of the night we asked to speak to the manager, he was busy talking to us (apparently). the woman who spoke to us was very nice, but simply could not understand why we did not bring the lack of quality of steaks to their attention earlier. If we had, we would have been the one who knows how long another should be cooked. she had seen the steak we had sent back and agreed with us how it was cooked. it would not even offer a slight refund only on the steak, because of the amount that had been eaten. this service was so bad and disappointing that we will never return. my daughter and my son in the law are natives and as we never come back here. it was our enkelin 6th birthday, so this was a very sad end of their special day.

The food was expensive and the restaurant was very dirty. I will not be returning here and will instead go to the golf club.

We went for lunch at the Vue 180 Restuarant and we were very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the roast beef lunch we ordered. Haven't had such a good quality bought roast meal in years. The couple behind us had something different and they...too complimented the chef on how good the meal was.

Rude inconsiderate no manners food missing paid extra for drinks than you would usually do so no manners at all over all service very disappointed and rude and uncomfortable
