Store House Market Eatery - Bastrop

In the past, the service at Storehouse was exceptional, with a team of familiar and friendly faces who took pride in their work. However, over the past year, our visits have been consistently disappointing. While the food remains delicious, the service has declined significantly. The staff seems inattentive and overwhelmed, even on days when the restaurant is not busy. Despite our previous experiences, we decided to give Storehouse another chance after hearing about their new brunch menu. Unfortunately, our recent visit was a letdown. The bartender seemed irritated by our presence, taking 20 minutes to serve our drinks. Our waitress was pleasant but rarely checked on us, and our simple breakfast order took 45 minutes to arrive without the accompaniments it was supposed to come with. The food at Storehouse is undeniably delicious, but the lack of attention to service is a major issue. I want to support this establishment, as we need restaurants like this in Bastrop, but it's difficult to justify spending a significant amount of money on a meal when the service is subpar.

Had an amazing dinner with my daughters at this restaurant! Everything was flawless - from the salad and appetizers to the steaks, craft cocktails, and dessert! I'm already looking forward to going back!

As someone with a discerning palate and picky eating habits, I was thoroughly impressed with the quality and taste of everything I ordered. As an art history major, I couldn't help but be amazed by the thought and effort put into the restaurant's design. The variety of artwork displayed and the meticulous attention to detail in creating the surroundings truly wowed me. It added a whole new dimension to the dining experience and made it even more enjoyable. Honestly, I have nothing negative to say about my experience at this establishment. Yes, I've heard some people complain about the prices, but they may not fully understand that natural and organic food often comes at a higher cost. You truly get what you pay for here, and let me tell you, you get so much more! The value and quality of the experience far exceed the price. If you're willing to make the drive, I highly recommend visiting this gem in Bastrop. I know for sure that I will be dining here again in the near future.
