Bidra med feedbackZaranj is a very beautiful place, in the heart of Kolkata (near Indian Museum), but without the amount that would often be combined with restaurants in similar places. The ambience is perfect for a family dinner or lunch. Although Zaranj does not have its own parking, it should not be a problem because parking is available next to the restaurant. It has a bar, a Chinese food and a multi-kitchen. You can order food from each of these 3 places in the same building. The taste of food is very good. The prices are something on the higher side, but the amount they will offer is also appropriate. Rajesh Pal- one of the stewards was particularly concerned with us when we visited in October 2019. We were a total of 6 and paid around INR 6.6k, containing drinks and appetizers. The average price per person you have to pay is therefore INR 1.1 to 1.5k. A beautiful place with good food. In the entry you can see the list of dignitaries/VIPs that were there that includes people like Amartya Sen, Saurav Ganguly, Shane Warne, Ravi Shastri and many others. That could give you the confidence if my contribution does not.
I must say that we had a wonderful dinner at the restaurant Zaranj for a birthday celebration. The staff was lovely and the ambiance was beautiful.
Zaranj is a charming small restaurant located on the first floor of the Hotel Park Plaza in Zirakpur. The décor is bright and colorful, creating a fresh and lively atmosphere. The menu offers a diverse range of dishes from various regions of the country, with the chef personally selecting the best recipes during travels across India. Local specialties as well as dishes from different regions can be found on the menu. The service is excellent, with friendly staff and chefs. The variety of chutneys served with munchies was unique and enjoyable. The mushrooms and Galautis were particularly delicious. The desserts were exceptional, and the Tandoori Ananas welcome drink was a pleasant surprise. Overall, Zaranj is a hidden gem with a delightful ambiance and delectable dishes.
On October 29, 2018, my friends and I attended a dinner meeting at this restaurant. We spent over two hours there enjoying group games, interactive moments, and delicious food in a welcoming atmosphere.
The restaurant has a serene ambience. The hall is huge . All those who look for sophisticated high quality indian food great delicacies and a very calm environment.. High Tea Menue is commendable. Although service is slow but cooked fresh. all snacks are really fingerlicking.
