Haldiram's - Basi

Haldiram Kolkata VIP Street is the worst place to visit I would never recommend how to keep old food that is not fresh at all. I bought Gur Rasgulla, Samosa and Thali all were pathetic and the staff didn't act well when I complained.

Visits for lunch with 8 friends and 6 employees on 01.01.2022. Pays approx. 8500 €/ items were served cold and tasteless. Lachha Parontha and Naans were soggy and were not freshly prepared. The staff is discouraged. Kesari milk at the outer counter said to be hot, but in...reality not even lukewarm. Proprietor is asked to consider it. Bad experience on the first day of the New Year. The majority of the food at this restaurant was lacking in quality. The self-service options were disappointing as many items were unavailable. There was a limited variety of dishes available. However, the new ADDA opening was a pleasant surprise and definitely worth a visit.

I am a fan of Haldiram's, but my experience at their Dera Bassi outlet was extremely disappointing. Despite my repeated requests to properly cook the dosa, it was half-done and ended up being a soggy roti. Even my favorite Haldiram's Raj Kachori was not up to par as it was also soggy and lacked its usual signature taste. Additionally, we were informed that their special Grilled Sandwich was unavailable as they were not able to grill it. The service, for which Haldiram's is usually known for, was very slow at all the counters including the cash register. It seems that there may be some management issues at this particular outlet. This is the first time I have encountered such poor quality from Haldiram's, so I urge the management to address these concerns seriously.
