Restaurant Grünpfahl - Basel

We recently moved to Basel from Australia and randomly ate here last night. We loved it so much that we went there again today. The main person who cooks, takes orders and serves people always has a smile on his face. I've had Pides in many countries (in Europe and Australia), the Pide we had here was by far the freshest and the best. We will definitely visit again.

Flavorful vegan options.... fresh made koefte, stunning lentil dueruem.. with the dueruem freshly made on order.... creamy hummus... lovely owners... always great for the small hunger on the go

We ordered mixed meze plate, shrimps with calypso sauce and Poulet bowl. It was very delicious for all three of us. The staff was friendly and had English menus. The only negative thing was that at the time we arrived there were too many people, the tea could have been stronger, and the food costs as much as most things in Switzerland. But the food was definitely worth the price.

Chicken Garden Salad was one of the BEST I’ve eaten! Salami Pita Pizza was FANTASTIC! Family run restaurant friendly, fast and fresh.

For how incredibly fresh everything is the prices are more than fair. Perfect for a light lunch or dinner. Can recommend to anyone.
