Lotus Garden - Basel

I went to Lotus Garden with friends. We arrived 19:30 pm we place our Order an half hour later, we weren't served until 21:45 Uhr. Worst part of it there were no proper Waitress. The service was bad, the food had no taste all we tasted was just soya sauce. I have never had such bad service or such poor food in a Chinese restaurant. I would never go back there, or even order any food whatsoever from Lotus Garden

The food is good actually, as an example they make an excellent fried rice. I’ve also dined in and had excellent meals there. This is not the reason why they earn two stars... they earn two stars because they use Eat.ch as a delivery service and in addition are super slow when preparing food for delivery. Last week there was a huge mix up with a small order of mine, which caused me a significant issue with my creditcard and bank. Needless to!say.... eat.ch blamed the restaurant for the mix up. Although eat.ch is absolutely complicit and went from the best delivery service in Switzerland to the worst overnight, this restaurant doesn’t do a timely nor thorough enough job in delivering to earn good marks for the good food... sorry, I don’t usually post negative reviews but people should know how poorly you manage delivery orders and how poor your delivery partner is.
