Bistro Kunstmuseum

I would like to take this opportunity to once again thank the employees of the “Bistro Kunstmuseum Basel” restaurant. A few days ago I had an unfortunate fall on the street in front of your restaurant. One of your employees probably noticed this and helped me up. In addition, a young couple probably with medical training helped me. Up to this point I found everything normal, very attentive and helpful. But what happened next was extraordinary in my opinion! The employee of the restaurant probably the manager invited me and my companion into the restaurant, offered me a carafe of water and recommended that I relax in peace and stay until I felt better again. The reactions from him and some of his colleagues were so empathetic, compassionate and caring that one could truly regain faith in humanity. Thank you again for the clear and extraordinary proof of Swiss hospitality and willingness to help! PS Another little note: my son recently gave me an Apple Watch. After the fall, the message immediately came: “You are obviously supported, how are you?” Do you need help? If I hadn 't responded, Apple would have called emergency services... Very reassuring!!

Nice museum bistro. The bouillabaisse was very good. The flammkuchen with onion rings was pleasant. Pleasant desserts. Fast and professional service, with the possibility of speaking French.
