Route 66 Mother Road Museum - Barstow

Deb was great to talk with today : The museum has many great displays of history from along the Route, and lots of souvenirs, as well as great books with all kinds of historical information!

What a great little Route 66 Museum! You don't want to miss this but call to be sure they are open. It's Small but Mighty! The museum displays a collection of historic photographs and artifacts related to Route 66 history and organized into different sections so it's easy to view and not crowded. They also have a great selection of Rte 66 T-shirts and other great Rte 66 items for sale in their gift shop! Don't forget to check out the Historic train station and Harvey House it's a part of.... The Harvey House Railroad Depot was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1975, great photo opps

Great history museum I recommend it to anyone If you drive by 15 fwy don’t forget to stop at Barstow

Super fun little hidden gem. Lots of awesome souvenirs, kind staff, tons of information on route 66, very cool antiques to look at. I'm really glad we stopped here.

Beautiful place. Pretty cool history. Lots of neat stuff to look at and interesting facts. NASA has a little museum in here too.
