Patty Hut - Barrie

I don't know, for those people have been complaining about Jamaica grill sorry all Mac and cheese go f.... back to Macdonald and microwave eating,,,,,this place is amazing freshly and very tasty food was delicious absolutely delicious thank you .

I simply enjoy their dishes. I always get great customer service here. The place is clean and the workers are always super friendly. Keep up the good work.

You won't find a better tasting patty. You'll have to wait a bit because he doesn't keep the patties sitting around. Friendly guy. It's worth buying several to take home. Yumm!!!

So I had come to this place because it was close to where I work so I thought hmmm I should get some Jamaican food. My first thought approaching the shop was never judge a book by its coverI ordered a small oxtail with a patty and a sorrel ginger. The lady then continued to pull the food out from the fridge and microwave it, and that was when I started to feel uncomfortable about my order because they didn't have hot tables but I still wanted to give this place a chance. As I walked out with my bag it felt a little light so I looked inside to only see that I had two small pieces of oxtail and barely any rice and this is a meal that I paid almost $15 for I then went back to the restaurant asking for my refund and the server started to yell and scream that I wouldn't receive my money back. I ended up leaving the food at the restaurant without touching it and they still decided to keep my money. I don't mind paying for food but this was a very unpleasant experience and I would not recommend this place to anyone especially because of their poor customer service skills. Also when I had called back about the refund the same server threatens to call my work place and she told me she would file a harassment claim against me and at this point I don't even want my money back I just don't think people like this should be running a business, please beware of where you guys get your food from. There is a Jamaican restaurant next door its called one love island their food is amazing and their customer service is on point. Or you can try The Jerk Marshall Jamaican Grill its across the street from Patty Hut which is one of my favorites because they actually have a kitchen in the back of the restaurant where you can see the food being made fresh everyday. The owner of Patty Hut actually called me and told he would give me my money back and that it was no problem but once he saw my google review he told me he would never give me a refund and I told him I was okay with that as long as I bring awareness to the people of Barrie. All I have to say is save your money and just get your food next door.So I basically paid this restaurant $15 for air.
