Flashback Diner - Barrie

The food was good, but the floors and Plexiglas were very dirty. You can say soils are not much cleaned. All the time closed and no cleaning done, shame on you.

The food was unexpectedly good. The service was exceptional. Thank you to Jade for this. However, the regular poutine dish was lacking in quantity. So much so, our friend stopped to get something to eat at another restaurant almost immediately after having left this one....All in all, this is a good breakfast/lunch restaurant.

Our come to restaurant for breakfast when shopping in Barrie. Covid changed everything. Food has gone downhill, service is slow and the floor is digusting.

I called flashback diner to see if tghey had REAL Mtl Smoked Meat sandwich and was told yes,,tried today and it didn't pass the test of a former Montrealer. It was stringy , tough , not on true rye bread and the dill pickle was...a limp piece of whatever. Totally disappointed.

What a great surprise! My husband and I stayed at a hotel that recommended this restaurant for breakfast. We loved it! The food is delicious!
