Bidra med feedbackWe have eaten here efore and were delighted to find the restaurant had reopened after Covid. We shared a plate of lagartos pork lizrads slivers of local pork lightly grilled and served with fries and rice. Simple, but delicious. For dessert my husband had chocoale mousse and I tried baba de camelo caramel foam) , which was wonderful.
Sitting on the patio here would be nice, even if the food wasn't. But the food is good as well. The service was good, but it is kind of a mom and pop operation and gets slow as more people arrive. But speed of service is not the number one reason to eat here, it is the view.
Me and a group of friends had the chance to lunch twice in Miradouro over the weekend. The restaurant has a very nice terrace facing the never-ending hills of the Spanish border which is very pleasant. The food is simple but very tasty and well cooked with a very good selection of the region 's traditional sausages and 'black pig ' meat, and also some cod-fish options. We also had fantastic scrambled eggs with wild mushrooms and asparagus, with is a must-have when in season. The staff are very friendly and helpful. For me is the best option to eat out in Barrancos!
