Bidra med feedbackThe view from our balcony was amazing and we had monkeys visited us several morning, which was very cool. The pool was also very nice. However, the beds were very hard, lights and ceiling fans were too low if you were over 6’3” and I held hit my head. Some of the environmentally friendly aspects of the room were frustrating. Like only 2 towels in the entire room. No washcloths or towels until we asked them at the reception. Also the air conditioning was made by a key that prevented you from running it when not in the room, so the room was always warm when you arrived until it cooled. They did not say to take the towels to the beach, but not to use beach towels or pads for us. From the center of the property is the beach approx. 15 minutes walk and is beautiful. But the return journey is a 550 steps uphill stair work also for very fit people. They say it's less than that, but that's just from a building at the lowest point on the plot, it's pretty much more a walk for all others. They have a shuttle that will take you to their nearby restaurants, but for some reason they will not take you to the beach but recommend taking the crowded city bus that was not a big deal during the Kovid. The three restaurants were fine (although they were all a little walk away), but a large part of the menu was identical, regardless of which restaurant you went, they even look identical to just a few differences in each. So we have the same food two days in a row in two different restaurants. When we finally went, there was not even a survey or question as we enjoyed our stay, as we had the opportunity to share some feedback.
The staff was very efficient and friendly. We had the ceviche and scallops parmesan for appetizers and rice with sauteed shellfish everything was very tasty and fresh. For desert we had purple corn pudding. The ocean view is not to be missed.
I asked my close friend who lives in Lima where to go for an incredible Sunday Brunch and he brought to Costa Verde. As you walk in you are met with the best view of the ocean on an enclosed outside terrace. You can hear the waves rolling and the rocks pulling back into the ocean after every wave. Along the wall not facing the ocean was a sight equally as enticing. Food! Lots of it! There were all my Peruvian favorites so I think its a perfect place for someone visiting to have a taste of everything. Of course, the seafood and sushi and ceviche were my favorite. I was fortunate enough to have been brought by my friend Harold who was a friend of the executive chef, Juan Carlos Arnaiz. He came out to greet us with a smile from ear to ear and was a gracious host. I am going back every time I am back in Lima
Okay we were here with a large group of 18 people but the waiters serving us really seemed confused the whole evening despite us having preordered. The setting by the ocean is nice but at night it was not quite as alluring being in this big tent-like restaurant. Everyone agreed that the food was just okay. The cerbiche was fine as were other dishes but nothing special in a city that is now teeming with excellent restaurants. I would look elsewhere to dine!
Fue un bonito lugar con grandes comidas y muy buena atención ahora está cerrado y la verdad se extraña
