Doe's Eat Place - Baron Rouge

We always start with a dozen tamales and then an excellent steak. I have been eating at Doe's for over ten years and have tried every steak they offer. I can say without reservation that they are all excellent and always cooked exactly like I order them. The cocktails are also extremely good. They make a wonderful Martini. It is a great place to enjoy friends and family and have a great meal also.

Great steaks! Doe's is my favorite steak place. And the tamales are delish! Had a great dinner. Sat in the bar because we had a toddler with us and we didn't want to disturb others. It was great! The server was on point and was so helpful with everything.

Doe's serves steaks that rival all of the well-known higher-end steak house chains, but does it in a down-home, casual way. The service is great and the Southern charm makes this a favorite place to return for an amazing meal without being fancy. The quality of the meat is top-notch and they cook the steak right every time. Don't skip out on the tamales and the marinated salad before your entree.

Came here food service and atmosphere were great. Ordered a soda, it was over carbonated, and made my tummy sad.
