Ava Street Café - Baron Rouge

Ava's is a Baton Rouge hidden gem! Usually not very busy (I only go at dinnertime , but that's not a reflection of the quality of the food in any way. I have had every protein on the menu and in every style (pho, vermicelli, rice bowl, and bahn mi. All of them are delicious! My personal favorite is the tofu vermicelli, and I am NOT a tofu eater! Their homemade drinks are also very good, with Thai Tea (especially the green Thai tea! and lemonade being standouts.Service is always great, very friendly, helpful, and attentive. Stop by and have a great, fresh meal with a nice drink! The overwhelmingly positive reviews are deserved.

I paid close to $28 for shrimp vermicelli with extra shrimp and No sprouts, less than 3 slices of cucumber, a dash of peanuts, no shredded lettuce, no onions, a half of a teaspoon of green onions, one piece of lettuce, and a few slithers of carrots!!! NEVER AGAIN!!

This place is one of the best on town to enjoy Pho!!!!.... It is always so fresh, delicious, and believe me very, VERY, tasty,!!!... I loved this place!.... Also the fruity teas are delicious!!!.... Lychee is my favorite!!! Yuuuum!!.... I totally recommend this place!

Service is wonderful, very nice staff. Food consistently delicious, best pho I have found in BR!Enjoy eating in and taking out. I love that everything if packed separately, so I can even heat up broth if I save for later. They always give chopsticks and pho soup spoon.Order: Brisket Lrg Pho, fried rolls

Good service. Used to like this place but the quality and quantity are no longer the same. Food was a little over priced (6 small wings for $11.95) and pho was over cooked.
