Heanton Court - Barnstable

We chose Heanton Court as we were before and had a good experience. We came and ordered drinks and had a little sniper with the bartender. We were shown to the table, we got a good time to choose our food. The waitress was very nice. We ordered a salmon and three steak cakes, we waited about 30 minutes when she came back and advised us that the order was not by the middle time she had only two gates. We ordered and received our food. After the main we ordered a sweet and coffee, the sweet came within minutes, we waited another 15 minutes, but no coffee when I asked she had forgotten about her. She apologised and didn't blame herself for the sweet and one of the main. Although she was very polite and apologetic, it was our evening, which was part of Mother's Day, but above all our son returned to Chicago. We like Heanton and enjoyed previous visits, I want the waitress to be more attentive. I'm sorry for the rant. Thank you.

James took care of us, what a nice man! Four Brat dinners, all very nice, the roast potatoes are beautiful. Good puddings, but it was the service of James who turned out!

Scenic view, beautiful fire, good selection of food and wine and could also have a snack. Friendly staff. Food was hot and chocolate desert was nice. Very pleasant

We had a very pleasant evening meal in comfortable surroundings. The Braunton Inn looks and feels special both from the outside and inside. It is in a very picturesque location and the building itself looks castle-like and individual. The menu had a wide selection of dishes and all reasonably priced. Staff members were friendly and welcoming. Two days later we returned for another meal and had an equally pleasant experience. A restaurant we would definitely recommend.
