Spice Room - Barnsley

We arrived at the spice room on a spur of the moment decision for food with 7 people in the group. The table was ready within 5 minutes and even accommodated the 2 year old which we had in the group. The service was really good when taking the order. The food was with us promptly and we were asked if we would like more time before the main arrived. The food was beautiful and with the offers been extended to 7 days a week the price was even better. Would highly recommend for a family night or even a catch up with friends.

I literally live 5 mins away from here tonight I was treating the family to a takeaway To say I was dissatisfied disappointed is a under statement we ordered the set meal for 3 We only got 2 bhajis Should’ve had 3 n they was cold chips was soggy cold In fact The whole meal was cold which we warmed in our microwave as we had been out all day just got in was famished When we rang to complain they wasn’t interested A lot of money for a microwave meal !!!! I wouldn’t order from here again Highly dissatisfied we’ve had takeaways from further afield better Warmer

My friend and I meet up every month for a curry and have visited many many restaurants in both South and West Yorkshire. This one is definitely one of the best we have been to. The service was outstanding, warm, friendly and just so professional. The food was excellent and large portions. Will be back that’s for sure.

This was our fourth attendance within the past few months. The food is very good as are the staff who are friendly and attentive. The five course is very good value and highly recommended

This was our first visit to this restaurant and certainly won’t be our last! The food was amazing, the whole place had a lovely atmosphere and staff very welcoming and friendly. Looking forward to our next visit.
