I do not usually write a review but felt compelled to do so after finding this gem of a farm shop ….Exceptional quality of fresh food and homemade products…. I can highly recommend the hot roast pork sandwiches a real treat. Excellent quality of products and very good value for money. Best farm shop I have visited in South Yorkshire and I have visited many ….

We decided to order our Christmas turkey from Parkside following a glowing recommendations from one of our friends. We live about 20 miles away but was quite prepared to travel to pick up the turkey nearer Christmas. I rang this morning to order the turkey but was told it would require a £20 deposit (I have no problem with that) BUT THAT THE ORDER COULD ONLY BE PLACED OVER THE COUNTER. So to achieve something that could easily I have done over the telephone, I have to make a 40 mile round trip. I won't be doing that! I can only describe that as RIDICULOUS.

I started using this farm shop during lockdown and I have been very impressed with their selection of produce. They have excellent cuts of meat, quiches, and cakes available. The staff is friendly and always ready to offer advice on what meat to buy or how much to purchase. I will definitely be including this farm shop on my Christmas shopping list this year.

This was my first visit here today. There 's ample free parking. Walking from the car park to the shop, I was amazed at how beautifully kept the grounds are. There 's a florist, a fruit and veg cabin, but I went to the butchers. They had a one way system in place and everyone was 'Covid aware '. They have a large selection of fresh and cooked meats, savoury and sweet pies, cakes, cheeses etc. The place is spotlessly clean and their prices are very reasonable. After smapling the quality of what they have on offer here, I definitely won 't be a stranger.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Parkside. I waited in line for 40 minutes only to receive some sandwich meat that was inedible. I urge you not to accept prepackaged meats from them. If there wasn't a line, I would go back and return it to those greedy individuals.
