South Trenton Pub (stp) - Barneveld

On Sept. 4, 2011 in Syracuse NY 10 burgers (one from each region of ny) battled for the best burger in the state. After hearing about their nomination for the best burger in their region my friend and I went to see what their burger was all about. STP won! for that reason alone you should go. The burger they entered award winning Yancey's Fancy's Jalapeno Peppadew cheese, bacon, avocados, lettuce, Hand folded lime dill cream cheese, and local garden tomatoes. It a burger you have never tasted before. One bite you are instantly transported to a beach in southern Cali. It's a flavor that you would not expect from the web covered hunter friendly dive bar. This should be a burger to put on you bucket list.

Very disappointed in our first visit there. The service was very slow. The bartender unfriendly. It took 45 minutes to get 2 orders of burgers and fries. The bacon was burnt on the burgers. The burgers and fries were expensive. Very disappointed and will not return.

Since this has changed ownership in March of 2014 it has gone completely down hill! They may have painted the walls, but the staff is very unfriendly, the food is awful, and the bartenders are very slow, and don't know how to run a tab!! Cash for everything at the moment you receive it! I have tried going a handful of times but every time I walk through the door it becomes a worse experience than the last!!
