Bidra med feedbackThe service is very slow. The chicken soup and kneidlach were tasty and the portions generous. But the main course was dreadful. Meat was not hot, just warm, and overcooked. If coming here stick to salads. The restaurant is also very noisy so hard to have a conversation. There are many other local kosher restaurants nearby much better than this.
RACIST! WATCH OUT!!! I order on deliveroo falafel in lafda for £6 very frequently from samis. However today i went into the shop and ordered 3 falafels in laffa and was charged £21! I think it was because of my skin colour, because they could tell i wasnt jewish and not part of their culture. I felt very taken advantage of NOT NICE! :
The food was excellent, although there was a bit of a wait. However, the generous portions and delicious flavors made it worth it.
I recently dined at Sami's with a group of friends who only eat kosher food. The chicken soup with kneidlach was enjoyable, although it seemed like the kneidlach might have been store-bought. I decided to try the salt beef, which was supposed to be a signature dish. Unfortunately, the ultra thin slices of salt beef appeared to be pre-packaged, lacking flavor. The dish was saved by the mustard, red cabbage salad, and latke, although they also seemed pre-made. At around £18.50 per serving, I felt it would have been more cost-effective to go to the deli next door.
This restaurant serves typical Middle Eastern cuisine at a very high level of quality. They have recently added some Indian dishes to their menu as well. It is impossible to have a bad meal at this establishment. The staff is very attentive and goes above and beyond to ensure your satisfaction. I highly recommend dining here.
