Since reopening, the quality has improved even more. The staff is helpful, especially for customers in wheelchairs, and the chef even came out to chat briefly. I highly recommend trying the green chili lamb with a flavorful green sauce that has just the right amount of heat, balanced with mint and coriander. The waiters are happy to explain the dishes and their heat levels, although spiciness can be subjective. They can recommend dishes based on your preferences.
I recently dined at Kiplings multiple times in one week and was very impressed by the consistent high standards of the food. The dishes were well-executed with creative twists on Bangladeshi cuisine. One unique dish that stood out to me was the king prawn mooli, which was cooked with coconut milk, ginger, curry leaves, and green chili, and served with fresh coconut flour. The ambiance of the restaurant was beautiful, but some minor details like the foil effect on the wall could be improved. The service was impeccable and the English Indian classics were delicious. There were some inconsistencies in the dishes we ordered, such as the varying portion sizes of rice. Overall, I would give Kiplings four stars for their great service, tasty food, and improved ambiance.
This restaurant in Hendon is a hidden gem. The food is always outstanding and beautifully presented. We have been regulars since it reopened a few years ago and it has become our go-to Indian restaurant.
Great place for good food. was often and it was always delicious. the service is also very friendly. take the service nice and good quality eat. all in all price and quality is great
This is one of our favourite and relatively unknown local gems which has continued to go from strength to strength since the current owners took over several years ago. Last night was one of the best meals ever. Highly recommend king prawn curry and lamb rogan lovely fresh ingredients not too hot and delicious flavoursome thick sauce. Lovely vegetables too cauliflower and okra last night but aubergine is also a favourite of ours Always greeted with a warm welcome if we chose to dine in clean and freshly decorated premises. The owner is also head chef and loves to try out new recipes but right now this is at its best. Well done Chef!
