Georgia South Bbq Sauce - Barnesville

Some great small town bbq! We were just passing through after a hike and stopped here. It's take out only but they had two patio tables we sat at. The waitress was super nice and the cook came out and chatted for a few minutes too. Super friendly. Reminded me of some good Southern hospitality.

I discovered this restaurant by chance on TripAdvisor and decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did because it was amazing! We were in town for a sporting event, and I needed to arrange box lunches for 30 people. I called and spoke to Sammie, who was incredibly friendly and helpful. We ordered sack lunches that included either a pork or chicken sandwich, chips, and a choice of Brunswick stew or coleslaw. They arrived right on time for our event, and the lunch was delicious—everyone loved it! The next time I'm in the area, I will definitely stop by this restaurant to try more dishes from their menu.

This is hands down the best BBQ I've ever had, accompanied by excellent, friendly, and efficient service. It truly captures the spirit of Buggytown's hospitality and the goodness of Shropshire.

The food was disappointing, but even more concerning was the attitude of the girl who took our order—she definitely lacks the skills for a customer service role. We won't be returning.
