Cafe Fresh - Barnard Castle

Great food and amazing staff came in a few times now the 2 lady's behind the counter went so helpful I had becon bun witch was amazing best becon I only becon from cafe fresh I would definitely recommend the cafe to friends and family

We had 2 pumpkin soups and chips. The chips were fine but the soup was the most unpleasant soup I have ever eaten. I had one spoonful but left the rest. My husband forced himself to eat his bowl, as he hates to waste food.The waiter was pleasant, but given the ability of this cafe to somehow screw up even pumpkin soup, we will never go back, I'm afraid.

Zero ratting for service the waitress for want of a better word had no idea what was on the menu we ordered soup and a pannini after a 41 minute wait it was served to us, watching other customers 4people sat outside one of the gentlemen came in asked the waitress for service was told it was table service and she would be out to take, it after 20minutes of no service whatsoever they left other customers where walking into shop and ordering drinks/food ,no amount of amusing signs telling customers how slow they are will change my mind we will never call here again

Fantastic café with excellent and welcoming service.

We arrived at the café just after it had closed, but the kind owner offered to make us coffee anyway, despite the inconvenience to himself. It is very rare to find service like that these days. We really appreciated it, thank you very much! The coffee was also great!
