Eastern Mangal Barking

This restaurant in Barking is a hidden gem. The customer service is excellent, with very generous portions for the price. The ambiance and size of the venue are perfect for parties. The food was delicious, although some dishes were a bit too salty, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5. It's conveniently located just 1 minute away from Barking station and bus stops. I would definitely come back to try more dishes.

Beautiful restaurant. great ambiente and interior design. on the food we ordered was the bbq huhn and pommes delicious and beautiful. the mixed scream was well seasoned and juicy. the fish finger and the pommes were fresh and tasty. the salate and the broth were excellent. then comes the lamb (kleftiko) and rice. I was quite disappointed by the rice. I prefer Basmati rice, but that was long grain rice and it was not well seasoned in my opinion. the lamb was ok with regard to the texture. I would have loved to drop even more of the bone. the shaft came into a suppe and the suppe could do better with a little more spicy too. when it was about paying for our food, they said they didn't take cards, but only cash. I was shocked. the waiter gave a subcamp on COVID-19, which concerns delivery. I think that's the worst excuse. I was very disappointed. even ice-cars have card payment systems. Except these were the waiter and waiter nice and professional. So I'll give a total of 4 stars.

Went with work colleagues for the first time for lunch and had a pleasant experience. Upon arriving we were immediately made to feel very welcome, and our waiter offered suggestions of what to order see picture. The food came promptly and was delicious, with free Turkish tea to finish off the meal. Unfortunately card payments were not accepted, and while browsing the menu I did not fancy paying almost £3 for a soft drink. Other than that, I would happily return here again.

The vegetarian moussaka was fantastic! The service was excellent and my boyfriend and I had a lovely evening.

This Turkish restaurant is authentic and serves high-quality food. The decoration is beautiful and the place is very clean. The staff is friendly and polite. The restaurant is spacious, modern, and airy. I give it a perfect 10/10!
