Bidra med feedbackAs others have commented, this place is only open in the evening, but it is a good place to look for a light meal. the menu includes various pastas, crepes, burger, sandwiches. it is not big with just a few tables and is popular with. the local amount. they have a very nice cured chicken crest. I had one of her cheeses and it was very good.
Finding a fine place to eat in Barichara isn't very easy, especially in weekdays and out of a high season. Pleniluni Cafe was very nice surprise. We liked the style of this place, furnitures and decor, romantic mood, small size. We liked the meals as...well, especially the fresh vegetables salad that is rather rarerly in Colombia this one was pretty good. We ordered hamburgers that were fresh, very tasty and big enough, natural homemade lemonade (delicious). The price was: about 7000 COP for salad and about 7 10000 COP for hamburger. The service was perfect and quick. Unfortunately it is opened only on Friday and Saturday early evening. We highly recommend this place.
Tiny little restaurant which is typical of those patronised by the local people rather than tourists. Jusifiably proud of their homemade ravioli signature dish you'd be foolish to miss out on this. If you are really hungry you would want to make this a pasta...course in addition to an additional dish but the home made pasta is as good as is served in many a far fancier restaurant anywhere in the world. It's all very informal but the restaurant is no worse for that. They serve wine by the glass, and although they are careful with the measure it is as cheap as it comes in this country with a disappointing lack of enthusiasm for wine.
Finding places to eat mid-week in Barichara in low-season wasn't easy. On our last night we settled for Pleniluni which had a crowd of Colombian retirees on holiday inside the small restaurant. The service was fine and it was nice to see that the menu...was available in English as well. It's an Italian style restaurant and even though I'd had ravioli the night before at another restaurant where it was the house specialty, I should have chosen that over my hamburger. Mum's crepes were alright but swimming in sauce.
This is such a nice little place. And it is little (maybe 8 tables? . But the service is great, pasta is delicious, as our salads. Was introduced to the uchova fruit here, turned out to be my favorite. A really nice change from the usual...Colombia fare so when you're hankering for something else (like a green vegetable this is the place!
