La Picanteria De L'escriba - Barcelona

I’m Peruvian and I live in Poblenou. I had heard about this place from several people and decided to give it a go. The ceviche was 23€ and it was the smallest portion of ceviche I’ve ever seen. It was ok, but not worth the money. I also ordered fried yucca with huancaina sauce, and the sauce didn’t taste like anything! Nothing clise to a true huancaina sauce! If you know Peruvian food well, don’t get fooled by this place. I’m actually sad that foreigners go there and think that’s the way things are supposed to taste. This place sucked! And I ended up paying 45€ for a solo lunch of two appetizers. Never again!

We had an excellent jamon iberico and paella at this place while discussing for business. Very nice seaview place with excellent service.

Excellent food and drinks, amazing cocktails, all beautifully served alongside colourful and exciting dishes from Peru, Mexico, Brazil and Japan. Warm and friendly service, attention to detail, and lots of fun. A great place to bring someone to impress them with a world full of flavours. a must visit when in Poblenou, they do an excellent value for money mid day offer, happy hours, and dinner. Booking recommended as it's always busy.

Local molt agradable amb una decoració molt autèntica. El tracte amb el personal perfecte. El menjar molt bo. No us podeu perdre els tacos i els nachos. Hi tornarem segur.

Todo genial. Nos ha gustado mucho la comida, pedimos el Ceviche callejero, tacos de Cochinita y tacos crujientes de atún. También muy buenas las croquetas de Ají Necesario revervar! Volveremos seguro a probar más platos
