Bidra med feedbackWe first learned about this restaurant in an online review of a blogger we follow, so we had to check it out while in Barcelona. At the beginning of our trip, the restaurant was closed for the week for vacation. We went back at the end of our trip and it was worth it! The food is amazing. I had the pear and walnut pasta pouches....AMAZING! My husband had the gnocchi with oil and garlic....he said it's one of the best things he's ever eaten and my daughter had the gnocchi with pomodoro sauce. We also had the tiramisu. Everything was amazing. The service is top notch as well. We will definitely go here again if we visit Barcelona again!
Very often, being Italian, I am quite skeptic toward Italian restaurants, because either the quality of food is not high or the atmosphere (ambient, music, etc. is “too much”… The Pomo d’Oro instead has been a very nice surprise: not only the quality of food and the way it’s been cooked is outstanding (with a careful selection of Italian and Spanish quality products , but the owners succeeded in giving to the restaurant a cozy touch that is not too light and not too much. Just right.
Delicious Italian food at an affordable price. The « menu del dia » offers two options, 13,50€ (appetizer, main course, dessert and drink of your choice) and 11,50€ which includes the same except the appetizer. Portion are perfect and food is really good. Resto was packed especially with locals when we arrived which is a good sign! I definitely recommend if you are in the area (close to Diagonal and Placa de Catalunya)

I have gone a couple of times to eat, as I stay close to the office and the truth that the price quality ratio is very good. to repeat without hesitation.
