While it is true what most of the reviews say about this restaurant I have to add that what makes this a little different than your run of the mill catalan restaurant. Is that it is frequented by locals, not one tourist I could see at lunchtime, primarily people working in the area. The prices are fair, the food was good, the service adequate. Yes, the plates tend to be small, and the choices limited but overall good value for simple but good food. And I would not call it barbecue, it is food cooked on the grill, in front of your eyes behind the bar.
Long term standing restaurant with typical catalan food related to vegetables and meat (catalan salad, ribs, entrecotte, chicken, all carbon roasted, and catalan deserts.
It’s a typical Catalan BBQ, in general a good experience but nothing special. We have tried rabbit, steak, butifarra (catalan sausage) and quail, the quantity not enough and quality just good. The place is very traditional and the service a little bit rude for us. Not a place to repeat.
Comida tradicional de verdad, parrillas y pantaletas espectaculares. Repito en un día normal, sin menú del día, pero la calidad de la carta muy buen precio. atención, de toda la vida. Rudes. serviciales. Amabilidad a los raudales.
