Tommy's Rootbeer Stand - Barbourville

NEVER AGAIN!!!!new to the area and everyone kept telling me to try it..ordered for entire family of 4 we all got something different and it was pretty bad...we tryed again and this time was even worse..we ordered 4 double burger boxes..got home(30 min drive)to find out we were charged for doubles and got singles....the fries went from the freezer bag to our box...NOT.KIDDING.....completely white and literally frozen in the middle ..no evidence of even being cooked....so basically spend 40 dollars on 4 kiddie size burgers...we had to go back out and get actual food....

Terrible service. Ordered banana splits and they sat on the counter for almost 15 minutes.and one of the workers has one of the worst attitudes that I have seen.

Absolute joke. The last 3 times I've ordered ice cream there's been a shift change right after. My stuff gets left just sitting up on the counter by the door. The last time I paid and left and didn't realize all my banana splits were melted. I tried again today and had the same issue. Pulled in and there were only 2 other cars. Called at 4:04 and was told 10-15 minutes. At 4:35 after I had seen my stuff put on the counter 10 minutes prior, shift change, and people going in and out and having conversations that don't even work there I went to the door. I told them that this happens every time. I'm not paying for melted ice cream again. They opened the top 2 banana splits and I said they were okay. Paid and got to the car. The bottom one was water so my son took it back to the door. The very rude server got nasty and refused to remake it so its now a full banana split in the Tommy's garbage can. We asked for the owners info and was told no. My family eats here multiple times a month but not anymore. I will no longer patronize a place that I'm spending money for a rude worker and melted ice cream.

Drove from Corbin to eat there for the first time. It will be our last time. Food and service was terrible. $17.00 wasted!
