Restaurant A La Bonne Heure

We were in the nearby Golden Tulip and wanted something different and cheaper. We thought we were trying this restaurant and were not disappointed. It is quite easy to go into, choose your main course and pay for it. You will receive a receipt that you will take to...Koch if you are ready for your main. But in the middle time it is all you can eat appetizers, sides and desserts, and water. There is even a soft game for the children. It is also ridiculously good value compared to the hotel restaurant! We have printed a 25% discount voucher with our food from the casino supermarket, making it even better value. Some really delicious food despite thinking it would be cheap and cheerful. A tip would be there early. It opened at 18:45 and at 19:30 it was very busy.

On our way back to Portugal we had a stop-over in the restaurant “A la Bonne Heure” and this to try it out, because we never had this restaurant on one of our trips. It is the system that you enter and you can choose...what you like form the several buffet´s. We can say that it is a good quality price and you can get as much as you can eat. Our only problem was that we arrived really late it was about 13h30. But anyhow we got a real friendly service and good food that we had to eat a bit faster than normal. Anyhow we can recommend this restaurant for people who are on the road, and don´t want to spend allot of time in a normal restaurant. Our conclusion, friendly and helpful service by the staff, and a good quality/ price food.

A good place to stop by to get lunch The formula is good and only 10€ For a formula entree plat and desert all you can eat except the principal hot dish . A chef will serve you and for the...other part you help your self . Nice place clear well done in decoration simple and efficacy good concept wine beer and champagne if you feel like it !

Directed here by our hotel because it's own restaurant was fully booked. The most poorly organised fast food place we've ever visited. You choose your meal and pay in advance at a till in the entrance using pictures posted above. Then give a chit to...a surly server to collect a meal completely in the way of other diners who are trying to add their veg etc. I chose roast chicken which was dry, overcooked and barely warm. Then they have the cheek to say they offer such good value and service if we are kind enough to clear our own tables and place our trays in a collection trolley. I paid for coffee then when trying to use the vending machine discovered from other diners that I should have been given a token at the till. Otherwise it takes 2 euro coins.

Satisfaite pour une 1ère visite. Concept basé sur celui de Flunch : choix de la viande à la caisse et accompagnement à volonté. Les prix abordables. Le buffet à un aspect "cantine" mais le choix satisfaisant, eu égard au prix. Petit bémol concernant les sanitaires : un seul WC (homme, femme, accessible PMR) pour l'entier restaurant, peu pratique de surcroît, le sol était dangereusement mouillé). Le personnel -m'a t-on dit- s'est déjà montré désagréable voire méprisant avec des clients. Je n'ai pas pu confirmer ces dires lors de ma venue, et j'espère que leur courtoisie est toujours la même.
